With more than thirty years of experience working for commercial real estate service firms in Atlanta, Scott has held research, finance, marketing, financial modeling, property management, and operations positions. He has focused on operational efficiencies for commercial real estate companies. Some initiatives undertaken include cost containment, technological automation, and vendor selection.
Scott joined SK Commercial Realty in 2023 with a focus on research, marketing, operations and training. Previously he was involved in the formation of Bryant Commercial Real Estate Partners in 2005 and, subsequently, Lee & Associates Atlanta. By incorporating the best operating practices of commercial real estate services firms into the organization, Scott was proactive in pursuing the latest technology and integrating it into every aspect of the company. In 2021, Lee & Associates Nashville launched, and he assisted in founding the office and served as their Director of Operations. In 2022, he consulted with Lee & Associates Greenville, helping them with research, marketing, and operational processes.
As Scott moved into a trainer role, he began assisting young agents in the CRE business with a program he developed called "Launch." This program sets agents up for success by introducing young agents to all aspects of the business, research, finance, property management, marketing, role-playing, and sale techniques. Research Associates graduate from the program in 9 to 12 months and hit the ground with knowledge superior to agents who have not entered the program.
